Job Summary

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Sales Account Manager to join our Sales team, focusing on selling data center solutions and services. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in sales within the data center industry, with a deep understanding of data center technologies and infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Develop and Execute Strategic Sales Plans: Create and implement sales strategies to achieve sales targets and revenue goals within the data center market segment.
  2. Identify and Qualify Leads: Research, network, and build relationships to identify new business opportunities and qualify leads.
  3. Build and Maintain Relationships: Establish and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders at data center facilities, including C-level executives, IT managers, and procurement professionals.
  4. Collaborate with Technical Teams: Work with internal technical teams to tailor data center solutions and services to meet the specific needs of clients.
  5. Present and Negotiate: Conduct product presentations, demonstrations, and proposals to showcase the value proposition of our data center offerings, and negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms with clients.
  6. Track and Report Performance: Monitor and report on sales pipeline, forecasts, and performance metrics to management.
  7. Stay Informed and Represent the Company: Stay up-to-date on industry trends, competitive landscape, and emerging technologies in the data center sector, and represent the company at industry events, conferences, and trade shows.
Requirements
  1. Education and Experience: Bachelor's degree and/or equivalent education and experience; 3-5 years of outside sales experience in either the Mechanical, Electrical, HVAC, or Data Center industries.
  2. Preferred Qualifications: Understanding of data center critical power and cooling systems; 3-5 years of experience working with IT companies, colocations, and end users who manage and maintain data center infrastructure.
