Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Early Childhood Education Professional to join our team at Primrose School of 4S Ranch. As a key member of our staff, you will play a vital role in providing a nurturing and engaging learning environment for our young students.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and manage a group of children, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times.
  • Implement the approved lesson plans and daily classroom schedule in accordance with our Balanced Learning curriculum and programming.
  • Assess each child's developmental needs on an ongoing basis and make recommendations for their growth and development.
  • Collaborate with the Leadership Team to plan parent-teacher conferences and student evaluations.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and attractive classroom environment that encourages children to explore and learn.
  • Provide clear and consistent expectations for children's behavior, while also offering verbal recognition and acceptance.
  • Attend all required staff meetings, workshops, and school functions.
Requirements
  • Previous teaching or assistant teaching experience in a licensed early childhood program is preferred.
  • Must have 12 units in Child Development Courses or be willing to obtain them.
  • Knowledge of the social, emotional, and creative needs of young children is essential.
  • Ability to lift up to 35 lbs. in connection with the handling of children for the facilitation of programs, child safety, and potential emergency situations.
