Job Description

**Job Summary:**

We are seeking a highly skilled and passionate Early Childhood Educator to join our team at Discovery Isle Preschool. As a Preschool Instructor, you will be responsible for creating a nurturing and engaging learning environment that fosters the cognitive, social, and emotional growth of our young students.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement a literacy-based curriculum that is structured yet flexible, allowing for creativity and intentional instructional decisions.
  • Coordinate classroom operations, including lesson planning, classroom management, and parent communication.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to build relationships with families, school administration, and the community.
  • Ensure instructional decisions are based on student interests and needs.
  • Participate in ongoing professional development to enhance teaching skills and stay up-to-date with best practices in early childhood education.

Requirements:

  • Must be 18 years of age or older.
  • Complies with all company and state-specific standards and maintains validation of required credentials for the position.
  • Complies with all state-specific education requirements. Must have one of the following:
  • 12 Units in Early Childhood Education
  • High School Diploma or GED and some experience with children.
