Job Summary
We are seeking a highly qualified and experienced Lead Teacher to join our team at Mason Elementary School. As a Lead Teacher, you will be responsible for leading a team of teachers and supporting the development of young children in a safe and nurturing environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and Coach Teachers: Provide guidance and support to less experienced teachers, modeling best practices and providing constructive feedback.

- Create a Safe and Nurturing Environment: Establish a safe and welcoming environment that promotes social, emotional, and cognitive development in young children.

- Support Center Success: Collaborate with center staff and leadership to achieve goals related to enrollment, accreditation, and engagement.
- Cultivate Positive Relationships: Develop and maintain positive relationships with families, teachers, state licensing authorities, community contacts, and corporate partners.
Qualifications
- Customer Service Skills: Provide exceptional customer service, demonstrating a strong ability to communicate effectively with families and colleagues.
- Organizational Skills: Possess strong organizational skills, with the ability to multitask and handle multiple situations effectively.
- Child Development Associate (CDA) Credential: Hold an active CDA credential or meet NAEYC candidacy requirements.
- Approved State Trainer: Possess approved state trainer status (preferred).
- Early Childhood Education Experience: Have 2-3 years of experience in early childhood education (preferred).
- Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education: Hold a bachelor's degree in early childhood education (preferred).
- CPR and First Aid Certification: Possess CPR and first aid certification or be willing to obtain.
- State-Specific Guidelines: Meet state-specific guidelines for the role.
- Computer Skills: Use a computer, lift a minimum of 40 pounds, and work indoors or outdoors.
- Communication Skills: Read, write, understand, and speak English to communicate effectively with children and their parents.
