**Job Summary**

We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Assistant Store Manager to join our team at rue21. As a key member of our store leadership team, you will be responsible for driving sales growth, improving customer satisfaction, and leading a team of retail sales associates.

**Key Responsibilities**

• Drive sales growth through effective inventory management, visual merchandising, and customer engagement strategies

• Lead a team of retail sales associates to achieve sales goals, provide excellent customer service, and maintain a positive store environment

• Collaborate with the store manager to develop and implement business plans, set goals, and track performance metrics

• Manage store operations, including opening and closing procedures, inventory control, and loss prevention

• Develop and implement training programs to enhance sales skills, product knowledge, and customer service

• Analyze sales data, customer feedback, and market trends to inform business decisions and drive growth

• Maintain a high level of product knowledge and stay up-to-date on company policies, procedures, and promotions

**Requirements**

• 1 year of retail management experience, preferably in a fast-paced environment

• Proven track record of driving sales growth, improving customer satisfaction, and leading high-performing teams

• Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills

• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays

• High school diploma or equivalent required; some college preferred
