Embedded Systems Engineer

We are currently in search of an EC Engineer for our client within the Technologies sector. We prioritize our professionals by offering extensive benefits and opportunities for advancement. Position Type: Full-time
Work Arrangement: Hybrid
Compensation: $90,000-$135,000 plus additional benefits
Role Overview: As an EC Engineer, candidates should possess a minimum of 4 years of relevant experience. This role involves collaboration with international vendors on next-generation chipsets and firmware, specifically in the area of EC.
Essential Skills and Experience:
- Understanding of the software development lifecycle to meet requirements, specifications, and produce high-quality source code.
- A strong enthusiasm for software development.
- Capability to independently develop software while also collaborating effectively with team members.
- Ability to analyze new technical specifications and provide necessary guidance and training.
- Excellent communication skills, including the ability to document and share knowledge.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred.
- At least 4 years of experience in embedded controller/microcontroller development.
- Proficiency in MCU (EC/KBC/ECLite) code development and NRE project support.
- Familiarity with the KBC/EC development process from inception.
- Knowledge of programming languages such as Verilog and VHDL.
- Experience in digital signal processing, hardware, and interface analysis.
- Willingness to learn from specifications and existing/next-generation market products.
- Experience in debugging and resolving embedded software/firmware issues.
- Understanding of encryption and security protocols.
- Motivated to work independently while being open to collaboration with cross-functional teams.
- A team-oriented individual with strong communication skills; experience working with international teams is advantageous.
Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
Experience Requirement: Minimum of 4 years of relevant experience.
Relocation: This position does not offer relocation assistance.
Travel Requirements: None.
Local Candidates Preferred: Yes.
Note: Candidates must be eligible to work on a W2 basis (No C2C).
