Compensation: $90,000-$135,000 plus additional benefits
Position Overview: As an EC Engineer, you will need a minimum of 4 years of relevant experience. This role involves collaborating with international vendors on the development of next-generation chipsets and firmware, specifically focusing on EC technology.
Key Responsibilities:
- Understand the software development lifecycle to meet project requirements and produce high-quality source code.
- Demonstrate a strong enthusiasm for software development.
- Exhibit the capability to independently develop software while also collaborating effectively with team members.
- Study new technical specifications and provide appropriate guidance and training.
- Communicate effectively, sharing knowledge through documentation.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field is preferred.
- A minimum of 4 years of experience in embedded controller/microcontroller development.
- Experience with MCU (EC/KBC/ECLite) code development and support for NRE projects.
- Familiarity with the KBC/EC development process from inception.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Verilog and VHDL.
- Skills in digital signal processing, hardware, and interface analysis.
- Willingness to learn from specifications and existing/next-generation market products.
- Experience in debugging and resolving embedded software/firmware issues.
- Knowledge of encryption and security protocols.
- Motivated to work independently while being open to collaboration with cross-functional teams.
- A team player with excellent communication skills; experience working with international teams is a plus.
Education: Bachelor's degree in computer science, Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
Experience: Minimum of 4 years of relevant experience.
Relocation: This position does not cover relocation expenses.
Travel Requirements: None.
Local Candidates Preferred: Yes.
Note: Must be eligible to work on a W2 basis (No C2C).
