- Documentation and Record-Keeping: Maintain accurate records of all subcontract agreements, amendments, and related documents, track key milestones, deadlines, and financial data associated with subcontracts.
- Support Contract Negotiations: Assist senior analysts or managers in negotiations with subcontractors, including pricing, terms, and conditions, prepare reports and summaries to aid in decision-making during negotiations.
- Risk Management: Identify potential risks associated with subcontractors and propose mitigation strategies, ensure subcontractors comply with all required regulations, such as safety, quality, and financial standards.
- Financial Analysis: Monitor and analyze subcontractor costs, ensuring budgets are adhered to, assist in the preparation of financial reports related to subcontracts.
- Compliance and Auditing: Ensure all subcontracting activities comply with company policies, as well as federal, state, and local laws, participate in internal and external audits of subcontractor performance and compliance.
- Stakeholder Communication: Liaise between subcontractors and various departments within the organization, provide regular updates on subcontract status to management.
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in business, accounting, finance, or related field.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to interpret financial data and identify trends or discrepancies.
- Meticulous attention to detail to ensure accuracy in financial records and reports.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills to interact professionally with team members and external stakeholders.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment, supporting colleagues and contributing to shared goals.
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Basic proficiency in Excel, including the ability to create and manipulate spreadsheets, use formulas, and perform data analysis.
- Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and adhering to ethical standards in handling financial information.
