We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Principal Test Engineer to join our Advanced Technology Lab (ATL) team in Linthicum, Maryland. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing and executing test plans for Analog Silicon ASIC devices, working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure timely and quality delivery of products.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and execute test plans for Analog Silicon ASIC devices
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely and quality delivery of products
- Design and develop test software and hardware solutions
- Ensure test data integrity and equipment/software improvements
- Support the procurement of test equipment and ensure compliance to customer documents
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering with 9 years related experience or a Master's Degree with 7 years' experience or a PhD with 4 years of related experience
- Direct semiconductor test engineering experience
- Direct experience in working with a team of test and product engineers
- Software skills in a modern language such as C#, Python, C++ or Java
- U.S. Citizenship required
- The ability to obtain and maintain a DOD Secret clearance is required
- Direct experience with testing Analog & Mixed-Signal circuits (amplifies, DACs, ADCs, PLLs), and Power Management circuits (regulators, drivers, etc)
- Direct experience with wafer or die ATE testing, NI Semiconductor Test System (STS) is preferred
- Experience with NI LabVIEW and NI TestStand
- Experience with 150mm, 200mm, and 300mm prober operation, as well as package part handling
- Experience with ATE hardware PCB design and layout
- Direct hands-on experience building, debugging, and repairing test hardware
- Direct hands-on experience working with test equipment (oscilloscopes, source-measure units, digital multimeters, function generators, spectrum analyzers, etc.) and GPIB communications
- Direct hands-on experience writing, debugging, and optimizing test programs
- Experience with statistical process control methodologies and software
- Exhibit leadership & teamwork capabilities, interpersonal communication skills, both inside and outside of work environment
