Job Title: Senior Certified Nursing Assistant / Activities Coordinator

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant to join our team in the Activities Department. As a Senior Certified Nursing Assistant / Activities Coordinator, you will play a vital role in developing and implementing activities designed to meet the physical, mental, and psychosocial well-being of our residents.

Responsibilities:
  • Assist with developing and implementing a program of activities that promotes the interests and well-being of residents.
  • Provide personal contact with residents and assist with nourishments and transportation to meal service areas.
  • Document resident activity plans and ensure confidentiality of resident information.
  • Assist with maintaining a safe and clean activity space and requesting equipment and supplies as needed.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.
Requirements:
  • Licensed Certified Nursing Assistant in Florida.
  • Valid CPR card from the American Heart Association.
  • Valid Florida driver's license.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Competent computer skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with therapeutic recreation programs and activities.
  • Experience in a long-term care environment.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
