About the Role

The Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) plays a vital role in providing high-quality care to our residents in Assisted Living and Memory Care settings. As a CNA, you will assist the licensed nursing staff by performing routine nursing duties and activities of daily living.

Responsibilities
  • Assist residents with dressing, grooming, eating, bathing, positioning, turning, toileting, and exercising.
  • Give treatment, perform tests, carry out procedures, and collect specimens as instructed.
  • Report and record observations and results of treatments, tests, procedures, and specimens when indicated.
  • Transfer, transport, and escort residents as needed.
  • Answer signal lights promptly.
  • Change bed linens, make beds, and keep rooms clean and orderly.
Requirements
  • Successful completion from a state-approved geriatric nursing assistant training program.
  • Prior geriatric nursing aide experience is preferred.
  • Registration with state registry required.
  • Ability to understand and follow instructions in English, communicate effectively, and perform simple arithmetic.
  • Ability to document care given.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
