Position Overview
The Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) is responsible for overseeing the digital marketing initiatives and leading the marketing team. This role involves collaboration on both internal and external communications, as well as the creation of content and marketing materials aimed at fostering preference and demand for Discovery Behavioral Health's treatment programs.

This position includes the onboarding of new facilities and the analysis of key performance indicators across all locations to ensure optimal outcomes.


  • Ensures Compliance: Guarantees that all promotional activities adhere to organizational policies, HIPAA regulations, and other industry standards.
  • Marketing Strategy Development: Responsible for crafting, executing, budgeting, and regularly updating each brand's comprehensive, multi-channel marketing strategy.
  • Campaign Optimization: Enhances existing marketing campaigns to lower expenses and boost conversion rates.
  • New Acquisition Coordination: Identifies and facilitates the implementation of new opportunities for customer acquisition, including sponsorships and lead nurturing initiatives.
  • Collaborative Efforts: Works in partnership with each facility, as well as the clinical outreach and operations teams.
  • Certification Oversight: Manages the timely processing of LegitScript certifications.
  • Meeting Participation: Engages in MOR meetings and all relevant discussions regarding the production of marketing materials and key messaging.
  • Event Assistance: Supports special events, including national sales conferences and other initiatives as directed by the VP of Marketing & Sales.
  • Creative Collaboration: Collaborates closely with the Creative Director and Content Manager/Writers, overseeing the production of collateral, both print and digital.
  • Digital Strategy Management: Supervises the Digital Program Manager to ensure effective digital, social media, and online strategies, addressing the specific needs of each facility for promotional materials.
  • Internal Communication Content: Oversees and collaborates on content for internal communications, assisting in the creation of materials for senior management on company-wide initiatives.
  • Additional Marketing Activities: Participates in other marketing-related tasks as assigned by management.
