Job Summary

We are seeking a full-time Registered Nurse to support our endoscopy team in Kirkland, Washington. The successful candidate will have a strong background in nursing, with experience in endoscopy procedures and a passion for delivering exceptional patient care. As a member of our team, you will have the opportunity to work with a diverse group of professionals, including physicians, advanced practice providers, and support staff.

Key Responsibilities
  • Comply with all clinical policies and procedures, systems, and applications.
  • Develop and maintain a clean, safe, and pleasant environment.
  • Properly assist physicians before, during, and after procedures.
  • Perform nursing assessments of patients prior to, during, and after procedures.
  • Administer conscious sedation and topical anesthetics under MD supervision.
  • Maintain competencies in all areas of endoscopy.
  • Patient education.
  • Proper documentation of all pertinent information regarding patient care.
  • Become trained and proficient in all essential work areas of the center.
  • Inventory and inspection of all supplies and equipment.
  • Maintain current knowledge of all GI procedures.
  • Maintain log books in regard to physicians, biopsies, etc.
  • Follow center protocol for reprocessing equipment.
  • Serve as an active participant on committees, as assigned.
  • Attend all staff meetings and in-service classes on regularly scheduled days.
  • Perform other related duties as requested or required by the Director of Nursing or Governing Body.
Requirements
  • Active RN license in the state of Washington.
  • 1 year of RN experience is preferred, but new grads are welcome.
  • Recovery room experience a plus.
  • IV skills are a plus.
  • BLS and ACLS.
