About the Job

Pentec Health is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our team as a Home Health Infusion Specialist in Rockford, IL. This is a full-time, permanent position that offers a comprehensive compensation and benefits package.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide comprehensive patient assessments, nursing interventions, pump refills, dose adjustments, and patient education to meet the needs of patients with implanted intrathecal drug delivery devices.
  • Travel within the area (up to 200 miles) to visit patients in their homes, hospitals, clinics, or other settings.
  • Collaborate with the prescribing physician, patient, and caregivers as needed to ensure effective care.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient records in compliance with state, HIPAA, and TJC requirements.
  • Participate in Shared Governance and integrate evidence-based research into practice.
Requirements
  • 3 years of RN experience with 24/7 accountability.
  • Ability to complete the Intrathecal Nurse Fellowship Orientation program.
  • Strong written and verbal communication, customer service, and organization skills.
  • Ability to work independently and be a resourceful, proactive problem solver.
  • CPR certification or ability to obtain.
Preferred Qualifications
  • ICU/ER/OR and/or home care experience.
  • Solid understanding of chronic pain/rehab principles.
  • BSN degree.

  • Estimated full-time base annual salary: $80,000-$85,000.
