About the Role

Pentec Health is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our team as a Home Health Infusion Specialist. As a key member of our team, you will have the opportunity to create your own schedule to meet the needs of our patients, while traveling within the area (up to 200 miles). This is a full-time, permanent position with a comprehensive compensation and benefits package.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized care plans to meet the needs of patients with implanted intrathecal drug delivery devices.
  • Provide nursing interventions, pump refills, dose adjustments, and patient education to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
  • Collaborate with the prescribing physician, patient, and caregivers to ensure seamless care coordination.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient records, adhering to state, HIPAA, and TJC requirements.
  • Participate in Shared Governance and integrate evidence-based research into practice to improve patient care.
Requirements
  • 3 years of RN experience with 24/7 accountability as needed.
  • Demonstrate the skill and ability required for completion of Intrathecal Nurse Fellowship Orientation program.
  • Strong written and verbal communication, customer service, and organization skills.
  • Ability to work independently and be a resourceful, proactive problem solver.
  • CPR certification or ability to obtain.
Preferred Qualifications
  • ICU/ER/OR and/or home care experience.
  • Solid understanding of chronic pain/rehab principles.
  • BSN.
