Public Relations Manager

Wynn Resorts is seeking a highly skilled PR & Marketing Assistant Manager to support our PR and marketing efforts across all business units at Wynn and Encore Las Vegas. The ideal candidate will possess strong writing skills, be an effective communicator, and embrace teamwork.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and maintain relationships with journalists across various platforms, including print, radio, broadcast, and digital.
- Create, update, and disseminate media and general marketing materials, such as press releases, media kits, statements, and internal memorandums.
- Collaborate with the Social, Marketing, Brand, and Digital teams to execute integrated marketing and communications plans.
- Conduct resort tours and assist in facilitating media familiarization trips.
- Plan itineraries, secure reservations, and oversee logistics for media visits.
- Maintain a comprehensive award/accolades calendar and submit applicable applications.
- Assist with generating location agreements for on-property filmings and photo shoots.
- Staff onsite filming activities and events to ensure brand alignment.
- Monitor Wynn's media presence to ensure accuracy and relevance.
- Work closely with the Events team to plan and execute events, such as grand openings, pop-up concepts, and signature events.
- Assist with managing vendor contracts.
- Update media site and Wynn Las Vegas webpage with timely and relevant materials.
- Oversee monthly media coverage reports for various business units.
- Liaise with executives and company representatives.
- Respond to reactive media leads in a timely manner.
- Supervise daily media monitoring service and ensure accuracy of inclusions.
- Represent the resort at community events and accompany executives and company representatives to applicable activities.
- Collaborate with outside agencies.
- Assist with administrative and general office management duties.
- Bachelor's degree in Advertising, Public Relations, Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a related field or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Knowledge of local, regional, and national print and digital media.
- Strong writing and verbal communication skills.
- Detail-oriented, able to multitask, and possess time management skills.
- Willing to work evenings and weekends as needed.
- 21 years of age or older.
