Emergency Services Technician

Job Summary:
As a valued member of our team at Kaiser Permanente, you will play a critical role in providing exceptional patient care in our emergency department. We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Emergency Services Technician to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Assist nursing staff with designated duties related to patient care, ensuring a safe and comfortable environment for our patients.
- Perform vital signs, EKGs, basic wound care, and other essential tasks as directed by nursing staff.
- Document patient care in our electronic medical record system.
- Maintain supplies and equipment according to department standards.
- Participate in continuing education and skills labs to stay up-to-date on the latest techniques and protocols.
Requirements:
- Minimum one year of clinical experience in an emergency department or urgent care setting.
- High School Diploma or General Education Development (GED) required.
- Registered Medical Assistant (Washington) certification within 4 months of hire.
- Basic Life Support certification required at hire.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Two years of clinical experience in an emergency department or urgent care setting.
- EMT training.
