Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Strategic Sourcing Program Manager to join our team at Seattle Children's. As a key member of our procurement team, you will be responsible for coordinating and managing the Request for Proposal (RFP), Request for Information (RFI), and Request for Quotation (RFQ) processes within our healthcare environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • RFX Process Management: Manage the end-to-end process of RFPs, RFIs, and RFQs, including the creation, distribution, collection, and evaluation of responses.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Collaborate with internal stakeholders (e.g., clinical, operational, and finance teams) to define project requirements, timelines, and evaluation criteria.
  • Vendor Relations: Serve as the main point of contact for suppliers and vendors, ensuring clear communication throughout the RFX process.
  • Document Preparation: Draft, edit, and review RFX documents, including specifications, terms, and evaluation criteria, ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations and organizational standards.
  • Proposal Evaluation: Assist in reviewing and analyzing proposals based on pre-defined criteria, ensuring alignment with clinical and financial needs.
  • Contract Negotiation Support: Provide support in vendor negotiations, including pricing, terms, and service levels, to achieve optimal value for the organization.
  • Compliance and Best Practices: Ensure all RFX processes comply with relevant laws, healthcare regulations, and internal policies. Stay up-to-date with industry best practices.
  • Reporting and Analytics: Generate reports and dashboards to track RFX activity, performance, and outcomes, offering insights to improve future processes.
  • Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvement and work with the team to implement more efficient workflows and cost-saving strategies.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in business, health care, or related field or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Five (5) years experience in a lead role overseeing program/project management.
  • Four (4) years experience working on quality and process improvement projects with cross-functional teams; including data collection, analysis, and reporting.
  • Proven record of project completion, program planning, execution, and status reporting.
  • Demonstrated experience in leading multi-disciplinary teams, committees, activities, and staff.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Masters in Health Administration, business, or health care-related field.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification.
  • Experience working with contracting legal requirements.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead improvement efforts related to strategic goals.
  • Experience working in public health, healthcare, or social services.
Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of $101,152.59 per year, as well as a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision plans, 403(b), life insurance, paid time off, tuition reimbursement, and more.

Please note that this position is hybrid remote located at the main campus.
