Job Summary:


We are seeking a highly skilled Product Marketing Specialist to join our team at Microsoft Corporation. The successful candidate will be responsible for leveraging reports, dashboards, and analytical insights to drive business success. They will apply customer and competitor insights to create business plans, explore new business opportunities, and facilitate product launch.


Key Responsibilities:



  • Research market conditions and gather information to determine potential sales of Microsoft's products or services.
  • Analyze consumer needs, synthesize competitive information, identify growth opportunities, and create marketing campaigns.
  • Evaluate market potential and return on investment (ROI) of key programs to help determine areas of potential investment or divestment.
  • Develop an understanding of Microsoft's product portfolio to analyze strategic priorities, competitive position, gaps, and potential opportunities.
  • Support and review product roadmap, go-to market, integration, and related plans to ensure effective marketing campaigns.

Requirements:



  • Masters degree or foreign equivalent degree in Marketing, Market Research, Business Administration, or related degrees.
  • One (1) year of experience in marketing, market analysis, sales strategy, or product management.
  • Requires at least six (6) months of experience analyzing and visualizing quantitative data, determining market size for products/services, conducting industry and competitive analysis; and requires at least twelve (12) months of experience in defining product value proposition, developing integrated marketing communication strategies; and developing go-to market strategies.

Benefits:



  • The salary range in Atlanta, GA for this position is $117,200.00/YEAR to $147,200.00/YEAR.
  • Microsoft has different base pay ranges for different work locations within the United States, which allows us to pay employees competitively and consistently in different geographic markets.
  • Individual base pay depends on various factors, in addition to primary work location, such as complexity and responsibility of role, job duties/requirements, and relevant experience and skills.
  • At Microsoft, certain roles are eligible for additional rewards, including merit increases, annual bonus, and stock. These awards are allocated based on individual performance.
  • Certain roles also have the opportunity to earn sales incentives based on revenue or utilization, depending on the terms of the plan and the employee's role.
