Join Transdev as a Transportation Operations Supervisor

Transdev is seeking a dedicated Transportation Operations Supervisor to play a crucial role in our daily operations. In this position, you will ensure that all routes are executed in accordance with safety protocols while providing guidance and support to our bus operators.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Clearly communicate job expectations and responsibilities to bus operators
  • Oversee daily scheduling, provide counseling, and prepare evaluation reports for local management
  • Conduct on-site investigations of accidents and assist drivers in completing necessary reports
  • Design and implement training programs focused on driver safety and operational procedures
  • Monitor drivers during operations, addressing safety concerns and documenting any violations
  • Act as a liaison between drivers and clients, addressing customer service inquiries
  • Evaluate driver performance and safety compliance, ensuring adherence to legal and organizational policies
  • Support the Safety Manager with compliance regarding drug testing and recordkeeping
  • Assist with dispatching, driving, interviewing, and various clerical tasks as required
  • Meet all driver qualifications and maintain a valid CDL to operate vehicles as needed
  • Perform additional duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Ability to obtain a CDL license
  • Previous supervisory experience is essential
  • A minimum of two years of experience as a full-time Bus Operator
  • Effective communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Strong time management skills and the ability to work in a diverse environment
  • Adaptability to changing situations and a willingness to assist in various capacities
  • Ability to make quick decisions and perform well under pressure
