Description

Are you passionate about making a difference in the lives of individuals struggling with substance use and mental health challenges? At Crossroads Turning Points (CTP), we offer a unique opportunity to work with a dedicated team providing personalized care and support to those in need.

We are seeking a dynamic Behavioral Health Clinician II to IV (Floater - different units) to join our team. This role involves providing co-occurring counseling services to individuals, couples, families, and groups, with a focus on trauma-informed care and substance abuse treatment.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Conduct co-occurring patient assessments and place patients into appropriate levels of care.
  • Provide group, family, and individual counseling sessions, including psycho-educational and family groups.
  • Develop and update treatment plans and goals with patients, incorporating behavior modification and stress management therapy.
  • Monitor patient behaviors and progress, administering and analyzing patient testing instruments as needed.
  • Provide patients with therapeutic projects, recreational therapy, or other activities to support their recovery.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation, adhering to licensing regulations and reporting clinical status to unit supervisors.
  • Participate in staffing patients with the appropriate team and communicate with community referral sources, including probation, parole, and DSS.
  • Crisis intervention and arranging for hospitalization as needed.
  • Coordinate and refer to supportive services in the community to supplement treatment and counseling.
Qualifications
  • Master's degree in social work, psychology, or counseling.
  • Licensure in LPC, LCSW, or LMFT.
  • CAS certification within 18 months of hire date.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in the mental health field, with previous substance abuse treatment experience and expertise with trauma preferred.
  • Demonstrated experience working with interdisciplinary teams.
