Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to join our Human Resources team at RCB Bank. As an Administrative Assistant, you will play a critical role in supporting the HR department with various administrative tasks, ensuring the smooth operation of our office environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Recruiting and Onboarding Support
    • Screen and sort employment applications within our applicant tracking system
    • Assist with pre-employment processes, including phone screens with candidates
    • Communicate regularly with Regional HR Business Partners
  • Data Entry and Management
    • Enter information into our human resources software system, work order system, and other databases/spreadsheets
    • Complete assigned tasks in workflow within the software system
  • Administrative Duties
    • Create and maintain electronic employee and medical files, job files, etc.
    • Compile materials for New Employee Orientation, Open Enrollment, and similar events
    • Verify and code invoices from vendors and submit to Accounts Payable
    • Generate reports within the human resources software system
    • Order supplies for the department
    • Sort departmental mail
    • Answer the phone and greet and assist visitors to the department
  • Communication and Collaboration
    • Assist various teams within the Human Resources department with distribution of materials and information to employees and third-party vendors
Requirements
  • Clerical experience in an office environment is required
  • Experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook is required
  • High school diploma or GED is required
  • The ability to maintain confidentiality is critically necessary in this role
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to maintain a neat workspace are required
  • The ability to provide friendly and professional customer service to external and internal customers is required
  • Cooperative, self-motivated team player with initiative and a willingness to assist others with business needs and goals
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with all levels of the organization are required
  • Must have the ability to prioritize, multi-task, and maintain focus amid frequent interruptions
  • Must be dependable, as well as diligent and efficient in the completion of tasks
Working Conditions
  • This position is in an office environment within a climate-controlled facility
  • Frequent use of the telephone, computer, and other office equipment associated with this position
  • Employees within this department are seated at personal desks for the majority of the day
  • The individual responsible for this role must be able to perform job functions with general supervision and work effectively as a member of a team or independently
  • The individual must be capable of working harmoniously with diverse personalities of co-workers, staff, and internal customers
  • This position requires regular and reliable attendance
