Customer Service Coordinator

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Customer Service Representative to join our team at GXO Logistics. As a key member of our operations team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth flow of goods and information within our warehouse.
Key Responsibilities- Coordinate workload allocation among warehouse workers, material handlers, and drivers to optimize efficiency and productivity.
- Prepare work orders, troubleshoot orders, and resolve discrepancies as needed to ensure accurate and timely fulfillment of customer orders.
- Assign and release orders sent for loading and unloading, and allocate and research inventory for orders to meet customer demands.
- Enter data for inbound and/or outbound freight into the Warehouse Management System (WMS) and create bills of lading (BOLs) to facilitate seamless logistics operations.
- Maintain and generate required reports to track inventory levels, order status, and other key performance indicators.
- Process, audit, and file various documentation to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office to effectively manage and analyze data.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with carriers, customers, employees, and management.
- Proven ability to multitask and prioritize workload in a fast-paced environment to meet deadlines and achieve goals.
- High school diploma or equivalent to demonstrate a strong foundation in basic math and communication skills.
- Availability to work a flexible schedule when needed to support business operations.
- 1 year of customer service experience to provide a solid understanding of customer needs and expectations.
- 6 months of experience in a warehouse setting to familiarize yourself with logistics operations and procedures.
