Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Cybersecurity Specialist to join our team at Sellers & Associates, LLC. As a key member of our Information Assurance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the security and integrity of our clients' IT systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Identify and Remediate Vulnerabilities: Conduct regular security assessments to identify potential vulnerabilities and develop strategies to remediate them.
  • Provide End-User Support: Offer technical assistance to end-users on CE operating systems, peripherals, and applications to ensure seamless integration and optimal performance.
  • Monitor and Troubleshoot Security Issues: Continuously monitor IT systems for security threats and troubleshoot any issues that may arise, ensuring minimal downtime and maximum security.
Requirements
  • DoD-Approved Certification: Possess a DoD-approved Information Assurance baseline certification at Information Assurance Technical (IAT) Level II, as per DoD Directive M (Information Assurance Workforce Improvement Program).
  • Extensive Experience: Have at least 7 years of experience in Information Assurance, providing IT systems support for Navy/DoD customers or directly for Navy/DoD.
Education and Certifications
  • CE Certifications: Hold Computing Environment (CE) certifications for the operating system(s) and/or security-related tools/devices supported, as required by SEA 05, in accordance with the statement of work.
  • Continuing Education: Complete certification sustainment-related training/continuing education as required to maintain certification status in accordance with the contract statement of work.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • Strong Technical Knowledge: Possess in-depth knowledge of IT systems, security protocols, and industry-standard security tools.
  • Excellent Communication Skills: Demonstrate exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
