Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Information Security Engineer to support our Nationwide Public Safety Broadband Network cybersecurity oversight program. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of cybersecurity factors and be able to adapt to an evolving cyber threat environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform cybersecurity compliance assessments, risk assessments, and control assessments
  • Conduct organizational and system risk assessments, analysis, and management
  • Develop mitigation plans and perform cybersecurity research
  • Support data analytics activities for improving oversight of the NPSBN and verification and validation of program deliverables
  • Lead and develop standard-based cybersecurity-related briefing materials, white papers, and talking points
  • Support planning, coordination, and execution for meetings, including meeting design, agenda creation, materials development, facilitation, team goal setting, and detailed meeting summary development

Requirements:

  • 10+ years of experience in Information Security
  • 5+ years of experience with the wireless telecommunications and/or broadband industry
  • Experience with 4G/LTE and 5G protocols and system architectures
  • Experience in security architecture, security implementation, vulnerability assessment, risk assessment, network security, and security control evaluation
  • Proven ability to create and document procedures and processes
  • Experience preparing reports and presenting results to leadership
  • Possession of excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Possession of excellent oral and written communications skills
  • Experience working both independently and within team environments
