The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sales, leadership, and team management, with a proven track record of success in driving business growth and developing strategic plans. You will be responsible for collaborating with internal teams, such as Trade, Category, Product Innovation & Finance, to support strategic planning and implementation. Additionally, you will be responsible for delivering on assigned Annual KPI's and ensuring a robust pipeline is maintained by your RSM team members within the Area to deliver upon KPI's.

Key Responsibilities:
* Lead a team of Regional Sales Managers, Broker Market Level teams, Broker VP's, and Distributors to achieve business growth within their defined geography
* Collaborate with internal teams, such as Trade, Category, Product Innovation & Finance, to support strategic planning and implementation
* Deliver on assigned Annual KPI's
* Ensure a robust pipeline is maintained by your RSM team members within the Area to deliver upon KPI's
* Review operator program analytics and conduct regular meetings with key personnel to measure results and adjust operational plan
* Lead team members as needed in negotiations with Operators, Distributors and Broker associates
* Support Pilgrim's P Meetings, Broker Executive Monthly Reviews, Operator Trade Reviews, Customer Conferences (Operator & Distributor)
* Collaborate with Sales leadership to develop regional operator, distributor and broker initiatives to meet / exceed KPI's
* Effectively manage Area MDF funds to support growth initiatives with key customers
* Be informed about and communicate key operator developments that may affect volume
* Coordinate with Pilgrim's internal cross-functional teams to gain needed support to meet KPI's
* Other duties as assigned

Requirements:
* 10+ years minimum sales experience in the food service industry, preferably within the poultry or overall protein industry
* 10+ years minimum experience leading a team
* Bachelor of Science degree required, MBA Preferred
* Extensive travel required (estimated 50%+)
* Superior planning and organizational skills
* Outstanding communication and presentation abilities
* Proficiency with computer applications required
* Can perform the functions of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation
