About the Role

Crimson Solutions is seeking a dedicated professional to join our team as an Expert Counselor for Refugee and Asylum Seeker Support. In this role, you will provide independent asylum procedure counseling for refugees and legal counseling for queer and other vulnerable asylum seekers in the Unna district.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide expert counseling services to refugees and asylum seekers, ensuring their rights and needs are met.
  • Collaborate with our team to develop and implement effective support strategies for vulnerable populations.
  • Conduct thorough assessments and create personalized plans to address the unique challenges faced by our clients.
  • Build and maintain relationships with local organizations and stakeholders to ensure seamless service delivery.
  • Stay up-to-date with relevant laws, policies, and best practices in asylum procedure counseling and social pedagogy.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A strong background in social pedagogy, counseling, or a related field.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work with diverse populations.
  • Experience working with refugees, asylum seekers, or vulnerable populations.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and creatively.
  • Proficiency in English and German languages.
