About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Fixed Income Portfolio Compliance Associate to join our team at Capital Group.

As a Fixed Income Portfolio Compliance Associate, you will play a critical role in ensuring the compliance of our fixed income activities. You will be responsible for actively monitoring order and trade activities, as well as account positions, to ensure that our portfolios are in line with internal and external guideline limits.

You will work closely with our Portfolio Managers, Traders, Legal & Compliance, Investment Technology Group, and Investment Operations teams to resolve any compliance issues that may arise.

Key Responsibilities
  • Monitor order and trade activities to ensure compliance with internal and external guideline limits.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to resolve compliance issues.
  • Collaborate with Portfolio Managers and Traders to ensure that our fixed income activities are in line with regulatory requirements.
  • Develop and maintain knowledge of compliance regulations and guidelines.
  • Provide exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with stakeholders.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, economics, business, or a relevant field of study.
  • Experience in financial services, knowledge of compliance, fixed income instruments, and investment vehicles.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ability to learn various related systems.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and multitask while providing personalized service.
What We Offer

Capital Group offers a highly competitive base salary range of $71,425-$114,280, as well as an individual annual performance bonus, plus Capital's annual profitability bonus, and a retirement plan where Capital contributes 15% of your eligible earnings.
