Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Fixed Income Solutions Architect to join our team at Capital Group. As a key member of our architecture team, you will be responsible for designing and implementing solutions that meet the business needs of our fixed income business partners.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop target state roadmaps and solution blueprints for fixed income applications.
  • Formulate architectural points of view to drive decisions and discussions at various architectural review boards and other governance bodies.
  • Design solutions that deliver business value and align with architecture principles, technology standards, best practices, and guidelines.
  • Innovate solution design with emerging technologies and future industry trends.
  • Engage closely with IT and architecture partners to increase the adoption of enterprise standards and architecture design principles.
  • Drive engagement and collaboration across teams to ensure successful project delivery.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, mathematics, engineering, or a related field.
  • Experience with or awareness of technologies such as AWS or Azure cloud platforms, data management patterns, data lake technologies, and AI/ML.
  • Business acumen in front-office through back-office processes and flow.
  • Knowledge of fixed income products, such as derivatives, interest rate swaps, credit default swaps, futures, and FX options.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience with Aladdin and/or Charles River Development.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience working in an asset management firm.
  • Minimum 8 years of experience performing solution architecture tasks, including building solution roadmaps, managing stakeholders, practicing good design principles, leading technology direction, replacing technology platforms, and providing oversight of vendor solutions selection and integration.

  • Strategic thinker with a record of bringing innovative solution design.
  • Comfortable presenting ideas at the senior leadership level.
  • Understanding of order management and compliance workflow.
  • Experience with hands-on development.

Compensation and Benefits:

We offer a highly competitive base salary range of $187,370-$299,792, as well as an individual annual performance bonus, plus Capital's annual profitability bonus, and a retirement plan where Capital contributes 15% of your eligible earnings.
