Fixed Income Portfolio Analysis Analyst

As a Fixed Income Portfolio Analysis Analyst at Capital Group, you will be part of a team focused on constructing and analyzing fixed income portfolios. Your key responsibilities will include actively monitoring portfolio risk metrics, generating reports, and analyzing model scenarios to inform investment decisions. You will also work closely with investment professionals and traders to monitor real-time fixed income market activity and partner with Portfolio Managers, Traders, Research Analysts, and Investment Operations teams to support new fixed income strategies and relationships.

Requirements
  • A bachelor's degree in a relevant field of study, with CFA certification a plus.
  • 4+ years of experience in financial services, with knowledge of fixed income instruments and investment vehicles, markets, and the investment process.
  • A solid background in portfolio construction, especially in separately managed accounts (SMA), and ideally experience with Municipal bonds.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Bloomberg, with familiarity with VBA, Aladdin, Perform, and Python a plus.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work well with differing degrees of ambiguity and manage competing priorities and deadlines.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to create and maintain meaningful relationships and influence a variety of personalities.
Compensation and Benefits

In addition to a highly competitive base salary, you will be eligible for an individual annual performance bonus, Capital's annual profitability bonus, and a retirement plan where Capital contributes 15% of your eligible earnings.
