Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled LPN to join our team at King's Daughters. As a Licensed Practical Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care under the supervision of Physicians and Advanced Practice Nurse Practitioners (APRNs).

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare patients for physician and/or APRN visits by obtaining vital signs, chief complaint, past medical history, medication history, and updates.
  • Gather pertinent health data through physical assessments and biological samples.
  • Provide basic patient care as ordered, including administering medications and monitoring treatment progress.
  • Document assessment and effectiveness of interventions.
  • Execute and/or assist in prescribed treatments and medical interventions.
Requirements
  • Graduate from an accredited school of Practical Nursing.
  • Maintains active LPN license in the Commonwealth of Kentucky (or other eNLC state with multistate privileges) and/or Ohio.
  • Achieves and maintains American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS).
Preferred Qualifications
  • One year LPN experience.
Working Environment

This role requires constant exposure to blood and/or body fluids and infection, occasional exposure to toxic or caustic chemicals, and occasional exposure to risk of radiation.

Physical Demands

This role requires frequent standing, walking, and use of fine motor skills to handle and operate instruments/devices.
