Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Membership Coordinator to join our team at Boys & Girls Clubs of Northeast Florida. The successful candidate will provide administrative support for our Club, maintain accurate records, and provide excellent customer service to parents, members, staff, and volunteers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Recordkeeping and Data Management
    • Maintain accurate records of member enrollment and attendance, food services, and other grant requirements
    • Ensure electronic database systems (COMET/SAMIS/MyClubHub) are up-to-date and accurate
  • Customer Service and Communication
    • Provide informative communication to parents and members
    • Answer Club telephone and provide professional customer service
  • Administrative Support
    • Prepare correspondences, reports, and event flyers as assigned
    • Assist with special programs and events as needed
Requirements
  • Education and Experience
    • High School diploma or GED
    • Minimum three years of administrative support experience required
  • Skills and Qualifications
    • Experience working with youth is a plus
    • CPR and First Aid Certification or willingness to obtain (Will Train)
    • Demonstrated proficiency with technology, including computer operations and word processing
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and organizational skills
Work Environment

The schedule is Monday - Friday, 2 PM – 7 PM (Additional hours occasionally). Work is conducted mostly indoors but may be required outdoors during special events.

Physical and Mental Requirements
  • Ability to sit, stand and walk for long periods, bending and squatting on occasion
  • Ability to lift up to 20 lbs. on occasion
  • Ability to hear at a normal conversational level
  • Ability to maintain a high energy level when necessary
  • High degree of emotional intelligence
