Your Role:
The Senior Manager of Information Security Operations will oversee the daily functions of our global information security team, safeguarding the organization’s information assets and ensuring a strong security framework. This position involves managing security operations, incident response, and threat intelligence, while collaborating with various departments to enforce security policies and best practices.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Leadership and Management:
    • Direct and manage the global Information Security Operations team, including recruitment, training, and performance evaluation.
    • Formulate and execute strategic plans for the security operations division.
    • Promote a culture of security awareness and continuous enhancement within the organization.
  2. Security Operations:
    • Supervise the daily activities of the Security Operations Center (SOC) and Managed Security Service Providers (MSSPs).
    • Ensure effective monitoring, detection, and response to security incidents and threats.
    • Oversee security tools and technologies, including SIEM, SOAR, and endpoint protection solutions.
  3. Incident Response:
    • Develop and maintain the incident response strategy and procedures.
    • Lead the response to security incidents, encompassing investigation, containment, eradication, and recovery.
    • Conduct post-incident reviews to identify root causes and implement corrective measures.
  4. Policy and Compliance:
    • Create, implement, and enforce information security policies and standards.
    • Ensure adherence to relevant regulations and industry standards.
    • Conduct regular security audits to ensure compliance and identify improvement areas.
  5. Collaboration and Communication:
    • Work closely with IT, product development, and other departments to integrate security into operational processes.
    • Communicate security risks and incidents to senior management and stakeholders.
    • Provide security awareness training to employees.
  6. Budget and Resource Management:
    • Assist the VP of Cybersecurity operations with the budget for the Information Security Operations team.
    • Ensure efficient resource allocation to meet security objectives.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field; a Master's degree is preferred.
  • 7-10 years of experience in information security, particularly in security operations.
  • Demonstrated experience in a leadership role within a security operations context.
  • Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or CISA are advantageous.
  • Strong knowledge of security technologies and best practices.
  • Experience in incident response.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal abilities, with a knack for collaborating with diverse teams.

Note: This position is fully remote, with occasional travel required and availability to respond to incidents outside regular business hours.
