Position Overview: We are seeking a mechanical engineering intern or co-op to contribute to the creation of hardware prototypes. The successful candidate will excel in a dynamic start-up atmosphere and will be eager to collaborate with a small, high-achieving, and hands-on team. This role offers the chance to design, construct, and evaluate hardware while engaging with various engineering disciplines.

Essential Qualifications:

  • Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering
  • Minimum of 3 months of relevant engineering experience (such as internships, laboratory work, or personal/team projects)
  • Able to commit to full-time on-site work
  • Adaptable to a hands-on, rapidly changing environment
  • Detail-oriented with strong prioritization and task execution skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities

Preferred Qualifications:

  • At least 6 months of relevant engineering experience (such as internships, laboratory work, or personal/team projects)
  • Solid understanding of design principles
  • Familiarity with 3D CAD software

Compliance Requirements:

  • To comply with U.S. Government export regulations, applicants must be U.S. citizens, lawful permanent residents, refugees, or asylees, or must be eligible to obtain the necessary authorizations from the U.S. Department of State.

This position requires in-person attendance. Visa sponsorship is not available at this time. Compensation is expected to be in the range of $15 - $20 per hour, reflecting the targeted base salary range in the Los Angeles Metropolitan Area. We encourage applications even if salary expectations fall outside this range.
