Job Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Global Sales Director for Travel Experiences to join our dynamic and multicultural team in rapid international growth. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in field sales and be comfortable in a fast-changing environment.

The Role:
You will be responsible for defining and developing the growth strategy of our company. This includes identifying and developing international geographical expansion opportunities and new growth channels. You will also explore 'grey label' opportunities, reseller partnerships, joint ventures, and other growth strategies by market.

Main Responsibilities:

  1. Selling guided travel and identifying potential growth areas
  2. Opening new accounts and developing long-term relationships with travel professionals in their specified region
  3. Traveling throughout their territory to promote the benefits of Exoticca, actively supporting partner marketing efforts, and presenting to potential travelers daily
  4. Executing successful field sales strategies to drive business growth targets
  5. Attending all relevant clients' events, tending to the booth and/or presenting when required
  6. Effectively account managing and retaining existing clients with a focus on increasing revenue year over year
  7. Working closely with internal teams to ensure strong communication and alignment in consistent delivery of quality products and service to clients
  8. Driving the collection of data using Salesforce CRM and using the data as an effective selling tool
  9. Ensuring all contact and interactions are of the highest standards, communicating clearly and appropriately
  10. Preparing weekly sales and monthly expense reports
  11. Seeking group business from Travel Advisors
  12. Meeting minimum standards of performance for KPIs

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 3 years of travel industry sales experience in a similar role
  • Existing client base of Travel Advisors in your area
