Key Responsibilities- Manage daily paving, milling, and DOT Heavy & Highway projects, including resource allocation, scheduling, and quality control.
- Oversee operating budgets and costs, optimizing efficiency and profitability.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
- Coordinate with other departments, clients, and subcontractors to meet project deadlines and specifications.
- Develop and implement strategies to improve operational performance and productivity.
- Provide leadership and mentorship to team members, fostering a culture of excellence.
- Help establish production's Key Performance Indicators (KPI's), interpret, and apply key financial indicators to make better business decisions.
- Bachelor's Degree in a related field and five to 10 years' experience in a combination of milling, paving, and heavy & highway civil work.
- Experience in strategic planning and execution.
- Experience creating, working within and/or administering an assigned budget.
- High standard of ethics, integrity, and trust.
- Strong work ethic and high standards for safety in the workplace.
- Proven ability to develop relationships and to work with teams as both a leader and a participant.
- Effective interpersonal and communication skills; building rapport, listening, presenting, giving and receiving feedback.
