Responsibilities

In this critical role, you will care for patients who are facing severe health challenges due to significant injuries, surgical procedures, or life-threatening conditions. Our nursing staff plays a vital role, acting as advocates for patients, advisors for families, and, at times, providing emotional support.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain vigilance and focus in a high-acuity environment
  • Demonstrate quick thinking and responsiveness in emergencies
  • Deliver comprehensive care before, during, and after surgical procedures
  • Exhibit proficiency in telemetry and cardiac monitoring
  • Commit to excellence in providing quality patient care

Qualifications

Required Skills:
  • Associate's Degree in Nursing or a Nursing Diploma
  • Minimum of one (1) year of nursing experience
  • Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Texas
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification with skills demonstration

Preferred Skills:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Nursing is preferred
  • One (1) year or more of recent experience in an Acute Care ICU, Emergency Department, or Labor and Delivery setting is preferred
