At Total Landscape Concepts, we are seeking a motivated and results-driven Land Development Sales Specialist to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who wants to build a career in sales and develop their skills in business development.

The estimated salary for this role is $65,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience.

As a Land Development Sales Specialist at Total Landscape Concepts, you will be responsible for driving sales growth by prospecting and developing new business opportunities across residential and commercial markets. You will focus on selling landscape services and solutions to both residential homeowners and property managers, schools, sports facilities, government entities, restaurants, banks, HOAs, and other organizations in need of superior landscape products and services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Achieve Sales Goals: Meet and exceed monthly sales targets through the direct selling of Total Landscape Concepts programs and services to residential and commercial customers.
  • Prospecting: Generate new business sales revenue by identifying and adding new customers through various marketing strategies such as direct mail, social media, customer campaigns, referrals, and more.
  • Presenting Proposals: Develop and deliver customized proposals for landscape services, and assist with the layout and design of both small and large landscape projects.
  • Price and Design Negotiation: Utilize a company-provided laptop and phone to negotiate pricing and design details with clients.
  • Lead Generation: Utilize a Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system to manage leads, contact information, projects, opportunities, and forecasting reports.
  • Project Management: Coordinate and schedule services across multiple departments to ensure successful project execution.

  • Occasionally required to:
    • Lift or move up to 50 lbs.

  • Work environment characteristics are representative of those encountered while performing essential functions.

Activity and Expectations:

  • Sales Targets: Post-training (90 days), BDRs are expected to consistently meet or exceed monthly budgeted sales targets by maintaining a significant pipeline of prospective clients, including both new and existing customers.
  • Appointments: A daily goal of scheduling 5-7 appointments is required to maintain sales momentum. BDRs are responsible for booking appointments when inbound leads are unavailable.
  • Target Adjustment: Annual sales targets will be established at the beginning of each calendar year but may be adjusted according to business needs.
