Key Responsibilities:

  • Follow a set route provided by the company schedule.
  • Visually inspect petroleum storage tank systems and related facilities.
  • Work outside in all reasonable weather conditions.
  • Obtain required documents to ensure compliance with regulations.
  • Become an expert on state Underground Storage Tank (UST) and Aboveground Storage Tank (AST) regulations according to Federal EPA guidelines.
  • Gather and organize information using designated software platforms.
  • Observe safety and security procedures at all times.
  • Respond quickly to customer needs.
  • Solicit customer feedback to improve service.
  • Respond to requests for service and assistance.
  • Gather and analyze information like a pro.
  • Demonstrate accuracy and thoroughness in every task.
  • Report any potentially unsafe conditions.
  • Use equipment and materials properly – safety is key.

The position requires working outside in all reasonable weather conditions, and you may be away from home for more than five days at a time. Physical demands include frequently lifting and moving pounds, and regularly using hands to touch, reach, kneel, crouch, crawl, talk, smell, and hear.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED); 1-6 months of related experience required.
  • California B Operator certificate preferred, if not must be willing to obtain.
  • Petroleum experience preferred.
  • Experience using Apple/MAC devices, iOS operating system, and Google suite.
  • Valid driver's license and driving history that allows insurability.
  • Determination to uphold integrity at all times.
