Job Title: Mid-Market Account Executive

Elastic is a leading provider of search, observability, and security solutions. We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Mid-Market Account Executive to join our team.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for expanding our current Mid-Market customer accounts, building new business, and upselling existing customers. This role requires a strong understanding of our cloud solutions and the ability to communicate their value to C-level executives.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage complex sales cycles, presenting to C-level executives the value and ROI of our solutions
  • Develop a territory plan and manage a pipeline to fuel ongoing business growth
  • Accelerate and grow net new accounts, identifying and qualifying new opportunities within existing accounts
  • Work cross-functionally with sales development, marketing, partner, product, and customer service teams to deliver outstanding results
  • Negotiate pricing and contractual terms to close sales
  • Accurately forecast profitable and predictable territory performance
Requirements:
  • 3-5 years' field sales experience in the software industry
  • Track record of success in selling SaaS subscriptions, with a focus on growing and managing current customers and new use cases
  • Ability to align technology solutions to sophisticated business problems and utilize strategic thinking skills to solve customer problems
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to demonstrate value proposition and return on investment in complex environments
  • Passion for building long-lasting customer relationships and working cross-functionally within a diverse team
