Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Process Safety Specialist II to join our team at Clearwater Paper and Manchester Industries. As a key member of our safety management team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing process safety management (PSM) programs to ensure the safe operation of our facilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain process safety information (PSI) for all covered processes
  • Conduct process hazard analyses (PHAs) and risk assessments to identify potential hazards and develop mitigation strategies
  • Implement and maintain a management of change (MOC) process to ensure that all changes to processes and equipment are properly evaluated and approved
  • Develop and implement training programs for employees on process safety and risk management
  • Conduct regular audits and inspections to ensure compliance with PSM regulations and company policies
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement process safety improvements
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in environmental, safety, industrial hygiene, engineering, or business
  • Three or more years of experience in process safety management or a related field
  • Strong knowledge of PSM regulations and industry standards
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks
