Culinary Support Specialist (288) Lewiston Center

At our organization, we believe that nutritious meals are the foundation of a vibrant learning environment. We are currently in search of a dedicated culinary professional who possesses a solid understanding of kitchen safety protocols and meal preparation techniques.

Role Summary:

The Culinary Support Specialist plays a vital role within our kitchen team, assisting in the preparation of healthy and nourishing meals that serve our students. We seek an individual who thrives in a collaborative setting and is passionate about making a positive impact on children's lives. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys a dynamic and fast-paced work environment.

The responsibilities of the Culinary Support Specialist include:
  • Maintaining a clean, organized, and safe kitchen environment
  • Collaborating with the Kitchen Supervisor and Cook to manage inventory effectively
  • Completing all necessary documentation accurately and neatly
  • Assisting in food preparation and serving as directed

Educational Requirements:

High school diploma or GED
Experience in a commercial kitchen setting
Willingness to pursue further education as required to enhance skills.

This position offers medical and dental benefits after a specified period.

Full-time Schedule: Monday to Thursday 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM / Friday 7:00 AM to 11:00 AM
36 hours per week / 36 weeks per year
