Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Principal Electrical Engineer to join our Test Equipment Engineering (TEE) Directorate. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and integrating test products for all Raytheon products.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop test systems, test interface adapters, cabling, technical drawings, and schematics
  • Contribute to the completion of all stages of test product development, including technical, cost, and schedule management
  • Act independently or as part of a team to uncover and resolve issues associated with test product development and implementation
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) and eight (8) years of prior relevant experience, or an Advanced degree and five (5) years of relevant experience
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued Secret security clearance
  • Experience with electrical engineering design, including troubleshooting, analysis, and test
  • Proficiency in commonly used electrical engineering design and analysis tools, such as Altium, DX Designer, Mentor Capital, and Creo Schematic
  • Experience with test equipment, including oscilloscopes, DMMs, network analyzers, and power meters
Preferred Qualifications
  • Master of Science degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM)
  • Ability to provide technical leadership in a multidisciplinary team environment
  • Experience performing analog, digital, and/or RF design
  • Experience designing, testing, and integrating digital, mixed signal, and electrical system interconnect
