About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Electrical Engineer to join our team at Vulcan Materials Company. As a key member of our Southern Gulf Coast division, you will be responsible for providing electrical engineering and project management services for all Vulcan locations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide electrical engineering and project management services for Vulcan Materials Company, including electrical projects, repairs, and preventative maintenance.
  • Collaborate with vendors to ensure technical expertise and provide input on equipment and facility designs.
  • Ensure all electrical installations, repairs, and preventative maintenance are completed safely and correctly.
  • Manage electrical projects through all phases, including planning, design, construction, and maintenance.
  • Assist in the planning and design of electrical and automation systems, including establishing equipment selection criteria.
  • Mentor and instruct regional electrical staff to ensure conformance to safe and best practices.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Engineering Technology, or equivalent experience.
  • At least 10-15 years of electrical experience in mining, heavy industrial, utility, or related industry.
  • Experience designing and managing the construction of projects related to different types of power distribution.
  • Strong knowledge of safety and environmental regulations, including NEC, NESC, MSHA, and OSHA.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
