Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Principal Electrical Engineer to join our team at Raytheon. As a key member of our Test Equipment Engineering Directorate, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and integrating electrical test systems for our products.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop electrical test systems, including interface assemblies, test instruments, and environments.
  • Contribute to the completion of all stages of test product development, including technical, cost, and schedule management.
  • Act as a technical leader in a multidisciplinary team environment, providing guidance and support to team members.
  • Develop and implement programming languages and utilize existing designs as a starting point to interface with new units under test.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues associated with the development and implementation of test products.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) and eight (8) years of prior relevant experience, or an Advanced degree and five (5) years of relevant experience.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued Secret security clearance.
  • Experience with electrical engineering design, including troubleshooting, analysis, and test.
  • Experience with commonly used electrical engineering design and analysis tools, including Altium, DX Designer, Mentor Capital, and Creo Schematic.
  • Experience with commonly used test equipment, including oscilloscopes, DMMs, network analyzers, and power meters.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Master of Science degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM).
  • Ability to provide technical leadership in a multidisciplinary team environment.
  • Experience performing analog, digital, and/or RF design.
  • Experience designing, testing, and integrating digital, mixed signal, and electrical system interconnect.
