Trustar Bank is currently in search of a qualified Branch Operations Supervisor for our New Bethesda location. The Branch Operations Supervisor will play a pivotal role in delivering exceptional customer service and overseeing the daily operations of the branch, including managing Universal Bankers' transactions, processing deposits and loans, cashing checks, promoting bank services, and maintaining accurate account records.


Responsibilities:
  • Provide courteous and professional service to customers, ensuring they feel welcomed and valued in the branch.
  • Assist the Branch Manager in the overall management of branch operations, focusing on sales, service, and staffing.
  • Engage in cross-selling bank products and services to enhance existing client relationships.
  • Address client inquiries and resolve any discrepancies related to their accounts.
  • Maintain a strong knowledge of Trustar Bank's products and services.
  • Perform daily operational tasks, including managing a teller drawer, conducting deposit reviews, and balancing the branch ATM.
  • Conduct branch audits to ensure compliance with established policies.
  • Support various administrative tasks to ensure adherence to bank policies, including opening new accounts and following security and compliance procedures.
  • Assist with additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent; Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • A minimum of five years of banking experience, including customer service and training in teller and new accounts.
  • Prior supervisory experience is preferred.
  • Professional demeanor is essential.
  • Ability to maintain composure and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Skills and Knowledge:
  • Strong interpersonal and verbal communication skills to represent the bank positively in customer interactions.
  • Familiarity with online teller systems.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
  • Clear communication skills, both over the phone and in person.
