Job Summary
Atlantic Health System is seeking a skilled Medical Office Associate I to join our team in a physician office setting. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, a strong attention to detail, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities
Manage phone calls and greet patients in a professional manner
Schedule and confirm appointments, ensuring seamless communication with patients and staff
Enter patient demographics and information into the EMR system, maintaining accurate and up-to-date records
Verify insurance coverage, complete forms, and collect co-pays, ensuring timely and efficient billing processes
Balance cash and maintain a high level of accuracy in financial transactions
Process pre-certs, authorizations, and referrals, as well as medical records releases, in a timely and efficient manner

Requirements
High School Diploma or equivalent experience
Prior administrative experience in a physician practice is strongly preferred
Knowledge of computerized scheduling and EMR systems is a plus
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to multitask and work in a team environment
Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite
