Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Imaging Department Supervisor to join our team at Sutter Health. As a key member of our Diagnostic Imaging Department, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our Radiology, Ultrasound, Computerized Tomography, MRI, Mammography, PET, and office support teams.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide overall leadership and management of the Radiology/Imaging Department
  • Ensure excellent patient care, cost-effective use of resources, and professional growth and job satisfaction for staff
  • Maintain a demeanor complimentary to medical ethics
  • Direct supervision of technologists and ongoing performance improvement monitoring and reporting
  • Assign staff and workload requirements respecting changing priorities in daily operations
  • Interact and communicate with physician support staff and other healthcare professionals
Requirements
  • HS Diploma: High School diploma
  • Preferred: College or Vocational Degree
  • CERTIFICATION & LICENSURE: CRT-Certified Radiologic Technologist, ARRT - Radiography - American Register of Radiologic Technologists, ARDMS-American Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer, RCS-Registered Cardiac Sonographer, BLS-Basic Life Support Healthcare Provider
  • TYPICAL EXPERIENCE: 5 years of relevant experience working in Imaging and sonography (preferred), Lead or supervisory experience, Occasional visit and oversight of Santa Rosa location
Working Conditions

This position may regularly work, store, prepare, receive, unpack, transport, dispose of, or administer drug(s) identified as hazardous, or potentially hazardous, by the National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health (NIOSH) for purposes of USP 800.

Pay Range is $75.44 to $101.83 / hour
