Cardiovascular Telemetry Nurse

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Cardiovascular Telemetry team at Lee's Summit Medical Center. As a RN Cardiovascular Telemetry, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our team.
Responsibilities- Assess patient condition during admission and during each shift, identifying and reporting any changes in patient status.
- Perform procedures or other functions as ordered by the medical provider.
- Document the administration of care in the patient medical record in a timely and thorough manner.
- Perform the administration of prescribed medications and monitors response.
- Maintain a knowledge of medications, procedures, and equipment used in the care of cardiac and medical-surgical patients.
Our 18-bed Cardiovascular Telemetry unit is a high-acuity focus area, providing care to patients with chest pain, cath lab post-procedure, vascular surgical patients, heart failure, and patients on CV drip. We have a 1:4 nurse-to-patient ratio, and our team is known for its strong culture and cohesive teamwork.
Requirements- Graduation from an accredited School of Nursing
- Current state of Missouri RN licensure required
- Excellent oral/written communication, interpersonal, organizational, and leadership skills required
- BLS certification required at hire and maintained
- ACLS required within 6 months
- Previous clinical experience preferred
- Basic computer skills
