Job Summary

Chevrolet Cadillac of Santa Fe is seeking a detail-oriented and organized individual to fill the role of Shipping and Receiving Specialist. This is a full-time, hourly position in the automotive industry located in New Mexico. As a Shipping and Receiving Specialist, you will be responsible for ensuring accurate and timely shipment and receipt of automotive parts and accessories to and from the dealership.

Key Responsibilities
  • Receive, track, and distribute all incoming shipments of parts and accessories.
  • Verify accuracy of shipments and report any discrepancies to the Parts Manager.
  • Inspect all parts and accessories for damages or defects upon receipt.
  • Ensure all received parts are properly labeled, stored, and located in the designated storage areas.
  • Assist with inventory management and cycle counts to maintain accurate inventory levels.
  • Prepare and package outgoing shipments of parts and accessories.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation of shipped and received items.
  • Communicate with other departments and vendors to coordinate timely shipment and receipt of parts.
  • Keep the shipping and receiving area clean and organized at all times.
  • Adhere to all safety regulations and guidelines.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • At least 1-2 years of experience in shipping and receiving, preferably in the automotive industry.
  • Proficient in MS Office and computer systems.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Ability to lift up to 50lbs and stand for extended periods of time.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Attention to detail and ability to work independently.
  • A valid driver's license and clean driving record.
